It’s summer time and the Mediterranean Sea is beckoning. Let yourself dream away to these two islands as seen from above in these two videos. First out is this video of Corsica. The island is known for its sandy beaches but the hiking trail GR20 there is also known to be one of the most exciting and difficult in Europe.
The trail runs diagonally across the island, from the northwest to the southeast. In total, the GR20 is 180 kilometers long but you can always divide up into shorter hiking routes.
Mallorca in Spain is one of the traditional islands to go to for a sun vacation. There is so much more to see than sandy beaches and hotels though.
Did you know that the island also has some challenging hiking trails, such as the GR221 Dry Stone Route which is 135 kilometres long and starts in Port d’Andrax, continuing all the way to Pollensa.
